To help victims of terror attacks in Israel, Gaza, Perlis Education Department has launched a Ramadan Donation Fund for Palestinianin conjunction with all schools in Perlis. The program was launched by the Perlis Education Director, En. Bin Mansor Lat at SK Tengku Budriah on August 24, 2010.
The ceremony was also attended by the Heads of the Department of Education Sector Perlis, teachers and students of SK Tengku Budriah. The Fund will be placed in all schools in Perlis from August 23 until 3 September 2010 to facilitate all students and teachers to contribute to fill the tube.
Perlis Education Department aims to raise RM 50,000 through the fund. Members of the public who want to donate to the fund can do so by sending to their children or themselves to visit a nearby school. For those living near SMK Tengku Suleiman and would like to donate to this fund., can stay in touch with our school office.
At the ceremony, the Director of Education Perlis also read the poem titled "Untuk Mu Gaza".
